Artist Bio
I paint landscapes and still life all with an eerie twist. Hauntingly atmospheric scenes envelop characters that celebrate the spirit of Halloween and mysterious curiosities that give us chills. This art comes from my love of all things strange, spooky and Halloween.
I’ve always created as a child by drawing creatures, making robots, collecting bugs, imaging mystical worlds. Years of ballet training have added a graceful and quiet elegance to my work. My black clad witches glide through woods and will pull you into a ghost story all your own.
Art has always been part of my life with careers engaged in the making of things. I achieved a master goldsmith title while working for world-renowned jeweler McTeigue & Co. I was taught by old world craftsmen the fine art of handcrafted precision and constructed countless masterpieces with meticulous detail. I enjoyed having my own jewelry business, Thompson Every Designs Inc., for many years.
After living over 30 years in Sleepy Hollow, NY, and marrying a guy born on Halloween, my spooky allure shines through. Last year I made the move to Scarborough, Maine and was a 2023 award winner at Art in the Park, South Portland. The state of Maine has its own haunted reputation which I love. I hope my imagination awakens your curiosity and spirits…especially the Halloween ones.

Materials and Techniques
I paint with acrylic and oils on wood panels or canvas. Smaller pieces include a mixed media frame with textured wood and a cast metal charm designed and hand patinaed by me. All my work is presented framed. I also sell giclee prints of my original work.
