Artist Bio

Alina Zalucki has been creating art ever since she could pick up a paintbrush. Alina studied studio art and psychology at Wellesley College. She also studied abroad at Goldsmiths University in London taking courses in art therapy. Today she teaches middle school art in Beverly as well as runs workshops for all ages at the Artist and Craftsman in Saugus. Alina focuses her work on artwork that resonates with the viewer. She hopes to evoke a sense of peace with her works focused on nature. Alina also creates many Boston themed works of art that evoke a sense of home.

Materials and Techniques

My work mainly is created using alcohol-based Copic markers. They look similar to watercolor and have a brush tip nib. The illustrations are created on specific non-bleeding paper and then framed. The illustrations are based on realism and a calming feeling. I also complete commissions for pet portraits.
