Artist Bio
Allie Richards is a proud year-round resident of Cape Cod, MA, and has been shooting landscapes for many years. She’s known for her bright and vibrant style and aims to showcase mother nature’s own art. She travels often exploring the world through her lens, to places like Iceland, Norway, The Faroes, Ireland, Italy (and more), and of course her own backyard by the beach.
When she isn’t behind the camera, you can find her selling her vibrant landscapes at art shows across New England or leading photo tours with her other business, BlueHour Photo Ventures. She has been published by the U.S. National Parks Service & Cape Cod Life magazine, and was awarded the PRC Student Image Award for their Boston gallery in 2013.

Materials and Techniques
All images are created using a mirrorless SLR and processed using digital darkroom software like Adobe Lightroom. Often used are techniques like long exposure to create otherworldly images. I print and mount everything myself, using archival materials and aluminum.
