Artist Bio
Erica Baptiste is an artist living and working in Boston, MA. Her work is comprised of detailed watercolor paintings, chalk pastel drawings and oil paintings. Baptiste is constantly inspired by her surroundings, primarily that of the woods and the ocean shore. She grew up in Dartmouth, MA which she believes played a large role in her respect and appreciation of nature. Much of her work features representations of unique animal figures and flora, though she twists their form into imaginative and surreal compositions.

Materials and Techniques
Most of my works are watercolor on paper or acrylic on canvas. In some pieces I use both watercolor and acrylic in addition to layered pen and pencil markings.
