Artist Bio
I’m passionate about creating things. My belief is that architecture is one of the few remaining professions that honestly combines art and functionality. My definition of design stems from this marriage of otherwise mutually exclusive ways of looking at the world. In our increasingly disconnected, segmented society, there is a thirst for interdisciplinary thinking and understanding to celebrate the value of hidden connections. Inspired, or ‘ineffable space’ as Corbusier called it, is the embodiment of successful design that captures the imagination by merging utility and aesthetic quality. I’ve lived this ethos by working as both a carpenter and an architect. I strive to create transformative space that embodies the ideas of interconnectedness and sacred experience.

Materials and Techniques
A mixture of plein air and studio watercolor focused on the intersection of architectural form and natural landscape. My career as an architect is coupled with my focus on the environment to create paintings that speak to harmony of people and nature through design.
