Artist Bio
I am an Interior Architect from Munich, Germany. When I settled in the US decades ago, I discovered watercolor painting to be a fantastic connection between the nature around me and my analytical mind. It became my goal to capture the essence of the natural world in watercolor. I like the unpredictability of watercolor and the experimentation of water, colors and pigments.
I have been involved in the Newton Watercolor Society for over a decade, first as treasurer and then as president. This enabled me to meet amazing watercolor artists from the US and all over the world through organizing workshops and continuously learn with and from them.
