Artist Bio
As someone who loves to be outside in nature whenever possible, I like to focus my works on recreating the things I find beautiful without any background information. I am a self taught artist and have been working all of my adult life on honing my skills, experimenting with different techniques and teaching myself how to be better. My current collection is done with a composite of pen/ink & watercolor, primarily on realistic animal renderings inspired largely by my travels around the world & my reverence for the environment.

Materials and Techniques
I use ball point pen and watercolor on 120lb cold press watercolor paper. I start with an outline in pen then block in watercolor. Once I am satisfied with the initial outline I layer watercolor in multiple application, much like oil painting to create depth. Then go back in with ball point pen to highlight and detail the work.
