Artist Bio
Vignette Graphica artworks are created and printed by artists Monique Illona, a graduate of the School of Visual Arts, NY and Lesley University, Cambridge, and Blane Allen, who studied at The Center for Cartoon Studies, VT. We work closely together and often collaborate on our art.
Vignette Graphica had four starting points; the first in our young days as children who discovered the wonders of art; the second in our later years when we began our studies in earnest; our third in 2016 when we closed our business and went traveling for 3 years and continued our art with new inspiration, and then again when we returned in 2019 and covid hit. We decided that the world needed our colorful images. Vignette Graphica: Discovering a Life of Whimsy, Wisdom & Joy.

All of our art is created, printed and framed by us. We use ink, watercolor, acrylic paint and sublimation.
