Artist Bio

I minored in Fine Art at the Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA. After raising my family and working in Real Estate for many years I picked up painting again and found that watercolor is the medium that I enjoy most.

Since then I continued educating myself with the help of various institutions, like the Art Institute in Minneapolis and in Chicago.
Here in Boston I took classes with Gary Tucker and workshops with Tony Couch, Thomas Schaller, Lian Quan Zheng and Eudes Correia. I’m a member of the Newton Watercolor Society, Newton Art Association and previously also of the New England Watercolor Society and the North Shore Arts Association.

I especially enjoy painting scenes around Boston as well as flowers, may they be bouquets, single ones or in interesting juxtapositions, sometime nearly bordering the abstract.
